Welcome, Ms. Shannon, to MEA, and thank you for organizing the Earth Day gardening event for the students. Our boys (Marco and Vasco, in 3rd and 2nd grade) were really excited to return to the garden after such a long hiatus. Since your session, they've been teaching us to watch out for mint, "the bully of the garden," and to make sure we only have one tomato plant per pot.
